Why have an engagement shoot?

An engagement shoot is such a great way for you guys to get to know me a bit better, and more importantly for you to get used to having your picture taken and to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Plus you’ll get to see how great you look in photographs, giving you one less thing to worry about on your wedding day! The shoot can take place wherever you like, often a local park or area of woodland, or your chosen wedding venue.

Where can we go?

We are so spoilt for choice here in Yorkshire! You might have a location in mind which is great, maybe the place you got engaged or visited on your first date. But if not then I’m happy to suggest somewhere! A few of my favourite spots include Roundhay Park, Golden Acre Park, Leeds City Centre, Temple Newsam, Harlow Carr, Valley Gardens Harrogate, The Stray (especially in spring when the blossom is out!), Ilkley Moor, Middleton Woods Ilkley, Otley Chevin, York city centre (the Minster, The Shambles, the riverside), York Museum Gardens, Rowntree Park, Newmillerdam, Oakwell Hall & Country Park, Swinsty Reservoir, Burnsall, Bolton Abbey, Harewood Estate. I could go on and on! I’ve also done engagement shoots at wedding venues if couples want to pick out favourite spots for the big day, at home in private gardens and farms, and actually I’m am happy to travel anywhere you like!

After the shoot.

After the shoot I’ll provide you with digital copies of the images to download from your private gallery, which you can share on social media, put on your wall or use for invitations and guest books. You’ll also get copies on your USB after the wedding.

What next?
